cloudDNA and iboss announce Platinum Partnership
We are delighted to start 2023 with the announcement of our Platinum Partnership with iboss, a comprehensive, cloud based security platform that provides a single, unified Zero Trust Edge to protect organisations of all sizes from network breaches and data loss.
The cloud based iboss Zero Trust Edge makes applications, data and services inaccessible to attackers while allowing trusted users to securely connect to protected resources from anywhere. Being one of the largest global cloud security fabrics, the iboss platform secures over 150 billion transactions per day, blocking over 4 billion threats from 100+ PoPs across 150 countries.
It’s lengthy feature list has a constantly evolving set of capabilities to keep up with the evolution of threats discovered by it’s global intelligence feeds and requires no physical hardware or CPE so it’s also simple and fast to deploy for all users everywhere.
Why we’re partnering with iboss
The cloudDNA team first experienced the power of the iboss platform when it was OEM’d by Citrix and marketed as Secure Internet Access in 2019. Working with our customers, we’ve helped evaluate, specify, supply, on-board and customise the service for thousands of users across the world, helping organisations in the finance and insurance, manufacturing, legal, retail and other sectors realise the true potential of the platform and their investment. The invoice may have said Citrix but it was all iboss at a technical level and when we tested it against the industry’s strongest competitors in the lab and our customer PoCs, iboss never failed to come out top.

What this means for Citrix SIA customers
As the Citrix restructure takes effect, Secure Internet Access has been retired to allow the vendor to focus on other areas of its portfolio, so it was a natural progression that cloudDNA would look to partner directly with iboss, which in turn would enable us to;
- Continue to support our Citrix SIA customer base throughout the remainder of their subscription.
- Help those looking to enhance their existing Citrix SIA or iboss tenant to harden their security posture through our inhouse professional services capabilities.
- Provide help and support at a business and technical level for any Citrix SIA customer looking to migrate from Citrix to iboss at the end of their subscription.
- Enable organisations that had previously considered Citrix SIA to understand the differences between the two vendor offerings and evaluate iboss as an alternative now that Citrix has exited the market.
The cloudDNA professional services team already has extensive knowledge of the iboss platform having specified and deployed the solution for thousands of users under the Citrix SIA branding. We’ve already spent hours on technical deep dives with iboss to learn how much more iboss has to offer over the Citrix SIA functionality, and look forward to being able to share what’s planned for 2023.
